Today Cathay Cargo announced the Tuesday flight to Wellcamp will now operate to BNE every Tuesday evening with the 747-8.EFF 17 June.

This will be BNE's first regular flight with this type.

Also China Southern Cargo have applied from MAY 17 to fly CAN-BNE-AKL twice weekly with 77F.

Finally some big freighters at BNE.

We had Global Jet Luxembourg A319 ACJ at BNE this week.
Also a Fa8x ...OY-RAD.

So much work happening at the airport.

Logistic apron about to be resealed for Domestic freighters to be operational here.
Aeromedical facility now in full swing.

Domestic car park 2 extension nearing completion.

Valet car park nearing completion.

Both terminals in full swing for security,retail upgrades and a new floor level extension for hand luggage only arrivals at Domestic.Both terminals will look completely different with over a Billion dollars being spent.

During this past week SQ started 28 a week a extra 3.VA-QR started the extra 77W to DOH and MU increased to 4 a week and CZ are now daily again.

Next month the busy day of Sunday will have 55 International arrivals.

today i also did one with CH9 BNE .Should be on TV this Friday on the 6pm news under the Bruce Paige remembers segment.

So with Astral currently out of action Terra Avia is now doing a Tuesday night weekly flight from Honkers.It also is a Tuesday night inbound as well as the Cathay Cargo which is outbound on Tuesday nights.

So Tuesday nights all of a sudden we are getting 2 x 747's the Dash 8 and the 400F ..Just over a month ago we were getting none.
