Angry item stolen for checked bags

Bought a new cheap phone in Hong Kong last Friday, need for a 2nd SIM I have.

New which model I needed (web search – wanted to be able to use same charger as main phone), but could not find it except one small shop, Said it was his last one, looked new, but seal on box had been broken. As only A$92, bought it anyway.

Should have smelt a rat, as found it kept crashing, so put it all back together in the box to try and get my money back when I got back to Hong Kong.

Put into suitcase, and checked in on my HKG-Clark flight on Cebu Pacific, (yes was able to get a ticket using my Aussie credit card)

Got to hotel, and found bag had been opened. Phone has been knocked off, phone box and pamphlets still in box (which was still in original shopping bag), but phone, battery, battery charger and earpiece all gone.

Did it happen at HKG airport or Clark airport, never know, but expect it was at Clark Airport in the cargo hold as they were taking the bags out of the A319.

Banjo

Ps the last laugh is partly on me as the phone is ****ed
