Yesterday Hevilift new ATR72 VH-FVH in full livery did a first test flight at BNE and we should see that flying very soon.

Last Monday VH-UQN F100 went into service out of BNE to Trepell.

Yesterday the PNG registered Hevilft ATR42 P2-KSV flew down and left back to PNG earlier today.

Thursday we got FED EX Sydney diversion.N589FE.

FIJI AIRWAYS started MAX8 to BNE last Wednesday.

Air Kirabati are getting 2 E2-E190's in 2019 and as they already code share to BNE they will probably fly here in their own right.

Cheers and Merry Xmas from a very warm Brissy!

Greg i have looked at a pic i took of both Austrian Fokkers parked on the other side of the field early Dec .It was a long distance pic with the one behind the first one losing it's tail shape .Today i took some pics and noticed only 1 Austrian liveried Fokker so the 2nd one is either completely destroyed or hidden behind the first one.If it was the latter then it possibly is nearly destroyed anyway.

1 was scrapped a few weeks ago. I couldn’t see if it was a F100 or F70 but it definitely had an Austrian tail

Maybe the former VH NUZ was scrapped after being a donor, with UQY replacing it?

Thanks for the feedback.

There is an aircraft in Norwich undergoing maintenance that is expected to arrive in Austrian livery as a spares ship. No sure on ETA.

BNE as well as ADL now get the Regional SQ 359 .

In the case of BNE it does one of the 4 daily flights now.

I wonder if they will operate the 787-10 to BNE one day, enjoyed being a passenger in one earlier in the week from NRT.
