After its 3 hour 44 minute test flight from AUH yesterday, A380 VH-OQJ is scheduled, according to Flightaware, to depart AUH as QF6014 in a couple of hours for SYD, with an estimated arrival time of 5:24am tomorrow, Wednesday morning. OQJ's return to service will restore the QANTAS A380 fleet to seven which was only at six since last Saturday when OQK departed for DRS.

Hopefully, either OQA or OQC will be next to receive the maintenance in AUH that they need to return to service.

Just out of interest for today, the QF145/148 SYD-AKL-SYD rotation being operated by 789 ZNN instead of the usual A330.

OQJ is due to operate a VERY delayed QF1 this evening with an ETD of 2215 (~6hr delay)

Yeh, I guess after over four months of maintenance the interior probably needs a good spring clean or the once over by QANTAS staff, especially if they performed maintenance on the air conditioning, internal electrics or entertainment units while in AUH. Or, if it was one of the bigger maintenance checks where they pull out all of the interior like they did in the Etihad A380, getting ready to return to service video.
