IIRC many of the QF birds were high in cycles by comparison to others. I know the ZX birds arrived here with high cycles but that make an interesting comparison with the AirNZ birds for sale:

zxe 55k hours and 33k cycles
ZK- NCL 87k and 15k cycles

Of course we have no idea at price each aircraft went for, so it's all somewhat moot. I am sure it gives considerable satisfaction to the men and women who worked on the planes while they are in service, to know their work ensures an aircraft continues to fly even in its "old" age.
